The LSM 410 is one of the BIC's two inverted microscopes, making it ideal for studying live tissue or embryonic development by imaging from beneath coverslip-bottom chambers. A coherent mira Ti:sapphire laser is direct-coupled to the rig enabling 2-photon excitation. Additionally, the LSM410 contains a customized 80/20 primary dicroic, making it exceptionally sensitive and efficient for 2- and 3-channel imaging.
